Luciami spends fifteen years of her life living in the human world, being raised by human parents, as they keep her abnormal features concealed from the surrounding populous of people. Luciami learns at age ten that she's a demon, after a monk takes note of her appearance, and says that she has a most peculiar aura. After running from the monk who tries to kill her, Luciami runs into a museum where she sees a painting of a man with dragon like wings on his back, and two horns protruding from his forehead. In this painting the man is holding the head of what appears to be an angel. Upon taking note in how she resembles the person in the painting, Luciami falls to her knees and cries. But rather than freak out and destroy things, she questions why she was left on the human world, and comes to a conclusion that she wants to be ''saved.'' So Luciami sets out to do the impossible and tries to reach Heaven while outrunning priests, occultists, and other demons. The priests are trying to kill Luciami, because she has the power to open a portal to Hell. It's written that the Anti-Christ will open a portal to Hell that will allow Lucifer to cross over, and rule the mortal world. Well Luciami is that supposed "Anti-Christ." So in the middle of making friends and falling in love, Luciami has to try and clear her name. In the first book however she meets a group of warrior priests, who she kills, at the point of blind rage. Once Luciami learns to control her transformation, she faces a demonic former human named Marilyn Manson.
After she defeats him, Luciami learns that she still has a long way to go before she accomplishes her goal.
